my favorite.
i love mondays.
Where are the people?????
Cari, marry me.
thank you for making mondays worth being excited about.
If we could change our tagline for one week only, I'd change it from "lovely in limbs" to "lovely in flailing limbs."
Cari: I love reflections. Does that even need to be said? I love ‘em. Here’s why. . . When viewing a photo of a reflection you have to adjust your eyes multiple times in order to view everything. So, when you look at the cool buildings in the background you then have to zoom (umm, zoom?) your eyes to blur everything else in the background to concentrate on the foreground. It’s like you’re really looking in a window! If I wanted to be really cheesy I could relate reflection pictures to “life.” Always looking past the foreground in order to see what’s in the background, when really there’s tons of detail right in front of our faces we’re looking past all the time. Ok, that’s why I like reflections.
Amy: Obviously this was a great night. People have to believe that when viewing a photo like this. Here’s the deal, I like the composition of this photo. The bricked wall is cut off nicely above the middle of the photo—very good thing. Then, the movement from Cari, to the shadow, to the door, then back to Cari moves the viewer’s eye in a circular motion. THEN, there’s more movement with the tire marks moving to the right on the ground. It’s like our eyes are on this photographic merry-go-round. If we move to fast I may vomit. . . Ok, no I won’t.
I hope this makes up for the lack of comment you received from me last week. Tootles, girls.
p.s. Cari, you're such a smart a$$. And Amy, if Cari were a man she would.
Jewel wins this week.
Hands down.
